India on Sunday tested a naval version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile. The missile was fired from the indigenously-built stealth destroyer, INS Chennai.
With the successful testing of BrahMos, India has now tested 11 missiles within a period of two months. The test-firing of these missiles comes at a time when India is involved in a bitter row with China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Eastern Ladakh. The standoff also led to clashes in Ladakh’s Galwan Valley in June
